About Us

Mmamosetsanyana is an operational non-profit and arts collective based in Mahikeng in the North West Province. The three “M”s at the beginning of the name are symbolic of the three pyramids of Giza to emphasize our African roots, otherwise Mmamosetsanyana it is a Setswana word which translates to “mother of a girl child” which is in line with our aim of nurturing and developing talent in the art sector.

Our objective is to synergize the power of technology and the arts in line with the fourth industrial revolution to showcase our astonishingly vibrant and culturally diverse country on a global scale. We strive to harness the power of technology to create awareness of the importance of the vast array of art-forms our country has to offer (e.g. visual arts, crafts, film, animation, performing arts, fine arts, music) thereby increasing participation so as to realize the much needed social cohesion. This we achieve by recruiting new talent, nurturing existing one and exposing advanced talent to South Africa and the world at large through the use of digitally based global platforms which gives artists the edge of endless possibilities in the advent of the fourth industrial revolution. We strive to create global opportunities and income streams for artists by exposing their talent to a world-wide audience using technology innovation.

The executive management team is comprised of African male and female youths who have extensive education and years of experience in  a variety of industries including a broad array of art disciplines, film, music, finance, social sciences, information technology, economics, analytics, banking and finance  to name but a few.
